Joel Boone, BVG Senior Pastor
Greetings! My name is Joel Boone and I serve as the Senior Pastor of Big Valley Grace Community Church. Let me share some of my life with you:
I was born and raised in Modesto, CA. and have been a part of BVG staff since 2003. I have served in various leadership roles and helped launch our Ceres Campus as the Lead Pastor in 2019. In 2021, I had the privilege and honor of becoming the Senior Pastor of Big Valley Grace Community Church.
My high school sweetheart, Sarah, and I have been married for 20 years. Together, we happily raise nine children and enjoy a lifestyle of many activities.
I have earned a Bachelors in Biblical Studies and am currently pursuing a Master of Divinity degree in Pastor Studies. 1 Thessalonians 2:11-12 has been inspiration that has solidified my path in fulfilling the mandate to make disciples for the kingdom.
Hello! My name is Tim Giannosa and I am the pastor of BVG's Ceres Campus. My wife Kris and I have long been a part of the Big Valley Grace family. I was a pastor on the Modesto Campus before pastoring a church on the East Coast. We moved back to this area in March 2020, so I could shepherd the BVG Ceres campus family, and we are so excited to be back!
